Is El Nino Over?

weather forecast
It's raining! Yay! I do hope that the El Nino phenomenon that we have experienced is finally over. Right now, it's raining so hard and we even have to close our windows because I got scared by the thunder and lightning.  (Yeah, I am so brave!) Heeee heeee...I checked the website of PAG-ASA for any advisory and here's what I got from the weather forecast issued at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, "at 2:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 100 kms West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City (10.1°N 117.9°E)".

This heavy rain is very much welcome, not only to the farmers whose crops have turned brown but I  also expect that this rain will somehow help normalize the water level in our dams. And for us, the rain has made the temperature bearable. Heee heee...

Well, I do hope that this will be the end of the El Nino phenomenon...
