Her name is Sheila and she's from Mindanao. We met when we were still preparing for the CPA board exams and were attending review classes at the CPA Review School of the Philippines (CPAR). She was also one of my roommates at the Immaculate Conception Ladies Hall, a ladies dormitory being managed by the RVM sisters. Unfortunately, after the May 1999 board exam we never had the chance to see each other again. Now, I am just so happy that she found me after 11 years through a social networking site! I really cannot find the right words to express how glad I am to see a very dear friend after such a long time.
Although social networking sites could have some security issues, I really appreciate the fact we are able to stay connected with our family and friends even through the internet. My friend now lives in Canada which makes it more impossible for us to go out and have fun just like the old times, but at least we can still bond online and keep each other updated.

My brother who has been living in Singapore for 20 years and have not bee in contact with me for 5 years also found me in facebook. This is one of the advantages of social networking.
