Accident Along SCTEX

We were on our way home Monday afternoon when we saw a self accident that occurred along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Since we did not see an ambulance in the area and only a patrol car and a tow truck responded, it looks like no one was hurt with accident. I can say that the SCTEX are patrolled by highly professional traffic management group not only to enforce traffic regulations but also to provide road assistance; hence, they are very quick to respond in cases of travel emergency.

Tollways Management Corporation actually ensures that motorists will have a safe and comfortable travel within the 93.77 kilometers stretch of SCTEX by providing 24/7 mobile patrol with eight relay stations, speed tracking radars, traffic management teams, reflectorized traffic cones, 24/7 emergency medical services from Aeromed Ambulance Transport, Inc. and towing services from Automobile Association of the Philippines.

Although safety features have been installed within the expressway, motorists should also do their part in ensuring their own safety and follow the traffic rules and regulations.

How often do you travel through SCTEx?

Nice to hear that people really appreciate the expressway. At least I've been and still part of the company who created the expressway.

@ Fhaye: hi, thanks for the beautiful blog award! I'll make a post about this later today. :)

@ Yashiro: Oh, nice to know that you're part of the company that created the expressway. We go to Tarlac twice a month and we always travel through SCTEX.
