Students have been so busy with their exams these past few days and my officemate who’s studying so hard to earn her second degree is no exemption. After much convincing from her family and co-workers, she finally decided to pursue a degree in Accountancy so she can have a better chance for career advancement. With her current endeavor, she needs to juggle her time and make sure that she does not neglect her work and family.
With her Departmental Exams this week, she is so worried because she has to review for her exams, but she also needs to help her with their home works. According to her, she fears that she cannot tutor her children with their 4th grade math and 5th grade math considering that she also needs to prepare for her own exams. When I heard her dilemma, I suggested the she can just get a tutor for her kids so she can focus on her own studies. She can even look online for math tutors and search which tutoring site offers the cheapest rates. Although her kids are still into adding fractions, I saw an online tutoring site that caters not only to K-12 but also to college students and this site even has an Algebra solver that will help students in solving equations, line plot and even linear programming.
Online tutoring can actually work for them because her children will be tutored right in their own home; hence, there’s no need for her to worry about her kids’ safety. Anyways, I’m quite sure that she’ll be able to fix her schedule and all her efforts will soon pay off.
