Unhealthy Belly Fat

Every woman I know dreams of having a firm, flat stomach and I must admit that I can’t help but feel envious of the people who were able to maintain a firm abdomen. Unfortunately as we grow old, our metabolism slows down causing the amount of fat in our body to slowly increase and fat deposits normally build up on our belly.

Although love handles can only be obviously seen by looking at a naked body and some clothes can effectively hide those spare tires, losing abdominal fat is actually a step to stay healthy. As a matter of fact, I have read that people with abdominal fat have a higher risk of heart disease, hypertension and diabetes compared to those people with fat deposits in other parts of the body.

Since my Dad has heart problems and my Mom is a diabetic, I really must really exert extra effort in getting rid of belly fat if I want to live a healthy life. Sad to say, there’s no easy way to lose those unwanted fats and the best way to achieve a flat stomach is still through regular exercise and healthy diet.

i have this problem. but i admit that i have yet to find it in myself to start doing anything about it. sigh! i guess, your posting this and my having to stop and read it is a sign. Lord, please help me!
