Angry Birds Adventure

Yes I know, I am a so behind when it comes to the latest craze in games considering that I got y gold trophy in Plants vs Zombies only a few months ago and after the majority of the population has gone tired playing the game. So I guess it will no longer surprise you that it was only last weekend that I was finally able to start playing the much talked about Angry Birds which I believe everyone has already played except me.

So anyways, it was only last week that we were able to get a copy of the game. I know that it can be downloaded online but I was hesitant to try those for fear that those might be infected with virus. As soon as we got home, hubby had it installed in our Acer laptop and it worked perfectly. Of course, I want to play it too and I don't want to wait for my turn to play so I tried installing Angry Birds on our Neo laptop.

However as soon as I tried executing the application, I was prompted by an error message saying, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem." So I tired deleting the whole folder of Angry Birds and then reinstalled it again; unfortunately, I still get the same error whenever I try to run the application. I tried searching online for I possible solution to this error and I have read that downloading Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable could solve the problem. So I tried downloading and had those installed but to no avail and I still get the same error.

Then I remember that Angry Birds gained its popularity through iPad which is one of the products of Apple so I thought of downloading iTunes and see is it will work.I thought that maybe there's something in iTunes that could make the application run. So, was I successful in terms of executing the application after having iTunes installed?

Oh well, yes I got rid of the error message and the application did run but I could not decipher the display on my screen. I tried adjusting the resolution settings of my laptop but I still get the same garbage display. Oh well, perhaps I was not meant to play the game...

But I really want to try playing Angry Birds. I was so curios what's with this game that almost everyone, my husband included, is so hooked at. The persistent me never gave up and I found out that I could still play the game through Google Chrome. Now I get to enjoy Angry Birds through Google Chrome!

It's never too late to catch up. I joined the craze about a month ago... and played Angry Birds 3 days straight using my phone. I'm saving the PC and online version for the holidays! :)
