Our Car is Getting Old

Our first car just turned 4 years old last July and we are starting to hear some noise upon start up. We are aware that a car only has a useful life of 5 years and after that time, mechanical problems starts to come up. This is the reason why hubby and I are starting to get worried if major problems with our car are staring to show up as early as its 4th year. This is actually our everyday car and we travel from Bulacan to Manila daily so you could just imagine the number of miles that it has traveled. Could it be that our car is growing old fast?

We always bring our car at Isuzu for its periodic maintenance service and the last was just 3 weeks ago so they should have diagnosed if a major problem is already staring to come up. Anyways, for our peace of mind, hubby is planning to have the car checked again this week and have it checked up to find out where the noise is coming from. We are also considering of getting a roadside assistance plan considering that our car is already getting old. It is somehow comforting to know that we could always call someone in case we’ll have some trouble on the road.

The cost and worries involve in maintaining a car is indeed like having another child.
